Fields of Mistria

Fields of Mistria is a cosy farming and life-simulation role-playing game in which players take on the role of a new resident who inherits a neglected piece of land in the pretty village of Mistria. This community is still recovering from a strange disaster that took place many years earlier. The main way the game is played focuses on farming according to the seasons, looking after animals, and helping to revitalize the town: the player tills the soil, plants crops, waters them every day, and harvests the produce over the course of four different seasons, while also keeping chickens, cows, and other livestock, which supply eggs, milk, and crafting materials.

In addition to the farm, Mistria has a variety of resources to collect—ores from the local mine, fish from the rivers and ponds, and herbs and flowers from the forest—all of which are used in a comprehensive crafting and cooking system that allows raw materials to be turned into useful items, gifts, and upgrades. The village acts as a central point, featuring more than thirty distinct non-player characters, each with their own daily routines, preferences, and personal storylines.

Players are encouraged to build relationships by talking with the characters, giving them gifts, and taking part in seasonal festivals, while gradually repairing the village's ruined buildings, bridges, and public areas through community projects that unlock new areas and opportunities.
